Dr. Imran Haque

Dr. Imran Haque is a distinguished medical professional with an impressive academic and clinical background. He earned a Combined Advanced Science and MBBS degree from the University of Sydney, where he was recognized with the Outstanding Achievement Scholarship and graduated with a major in Physiology. During his time at the University, he was awarded the prestigious Dominique Clancey Prize, reflecting his dedication and academic excellence.

Dr. Haque pursued his Respiratory training at Westmead and St George Hospitals. At Westmead Hospital, he achieved first place in the FRACP physician written exam and was honored as the Registrar of the Year. He was also part of Australia’s first-ever Pulmonary Embolus Response Team. Dr. Haque later completed his Sleep and Respiratory Failure training at St George Hospital, developing expertise in Sleep and ventilatory disorders, asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, TB, and thromboembolic diseases.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Haque has a passion for teaching and is actively involved in the MCQ4BPTs project, a learning platform for basic physician trainees. Fluent in both Bengali and English, he is deeply committed to supporting General Practitioners and healthcare providers in managing Respiratory and Sleep disorders, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
